The Australian National Maritime Museum is situated at the heart of Darling Harbour and features an impressive variety of tall ships, defence ships, a submarine, and other boats. Visitors can also explore permanent and temporary exhibitions on subjects that showcase Australia’s close links to the sea. From fascinating artefacts, thought-provoking exhibitions and fun activities for kids (and big kids), the museum gives local and international visitors a chance to connect to Australia’s maritime past and present in an innovative way.
