Is there a commentary available in my language?
Commentary is available in 14 languages: Greek, English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Russian, Japanese, Turkish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew and Ukrainian. Disposable wired earphones are available from your driver.
Where can I start the tour?
You can hop on at any stop. Popular starting points include the Acropolis (Stop 4), Plaka (Stop 2), Parliament (Stop 6), and Monastiraki Square (Stop 13).
How do I redeem my ticket?
Show your voucher (printed or mobile) to a Big Bus staff member at any stop or on the bus. You’ll receive a receipt to use for the tour duration.
Do tours operate daily?
Yes, the bus tours operate daily. On any bank holidays and in any weather.
How long does the tour take?
The full tour circuit durations are as below:
ATHENS (Grey) Line: 1hr 30 minutes (approx.)
PIRAEUS (Purple) Line: 1hr 15 minutes (approx.)
RIVIERA (Green) Line: 1hr 40 minutes (approx.)

What is the child ticketing policy?
A child ticket is available for children between the ages of 4 - 12. Children aged 3 and under may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Night tour
Discover Athens by night your ticket includes a 60 minute night tour. Redeem your Big Bus vouchers with a member of staff at Stop #4 Acropolis. Available daily. Departs daily from Parliament (Stop #6) at 6:00pm and 7:15pm. Duration: ~1 hour. Arrive 15 minutes early.
What is a Family Ticket?
A family ticket for Big Bus tour consists of 2 Adults (Age 13+) and up to 3 Children (Age 4 – 12).
How often do buses run?
Buses operate every 20 minutes from 9:00 am to around 4:30 pm, depending on the season.
