Is there a commentary available in my language?
Yes, we have commentary in all three routes in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean & Arabic.
Where does the tour start?
You can start the tour from any stop, preferably the nearest one to you and exchange your voucher for a ticket.
What can I see and visit?
Main Monuments and attractions in Madrid: Neptune’s fountain, Cibeles, Retiro Park, Gran Via, Plaza España, Templo de Debod, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Science Museum, Ventas bullring and many more.
Are child tickets available?
Child tickets are available for children aged 5–15. Children aged 4 and under travel free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our bus fleet is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us for further information.
Do the tours operate daily?
Yes, the Big Bus tours operate daily, apart from the 25th of December and the 1st of January. On any bank holidays and in any weather.
Day Tour Departure Times
First tour for the Historic Route departs at 9:30 AM from Stop 1 (Neptune Fountain), with buses every 30 minutes until 6:30 PM. Departure times may vary seasonally — check your voucher for details.
First tour for Actual Route departs at 10:00 AM from Stop 1 (Neptune Fountain), with buses every hour until 6:00 PM. Departure times may vary seasonally — check your voucher for details.

What is a Family Ticket?
A Family Ticket includes 2 adults (16+) and 2 children (ages 5–15).
How do I request a refund?
If you booked directly with Big Bus Tours, please request your refund via the Big Bus Tours App or the enquiry form on our website. If you booked through a third-party partner, please contact the original provider to arrange your refund.
How do I activate my ticket?
On the day of travel, use the Big Bus Tours app to activate your ticket. Once your ticket countdown has started, simply show your activated ticket to the driver to board.
If for any reason, you can't activate your ticket via the app, you can still show your printed ticket or QR to a member of staff at one of our stops or aboard the bus. They'll issue you a paper ticket that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity of your ticket.
