What is the child ticketing policy?
Child tickets are available for passengers aged between 3–12 years. Children 2 and under may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16 .
On which days does the tour operate?
Big Bus Tours Chicago operates most days of the year, apart from Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Occasionally severe weather and special event days could affect our service.
Do I need to specify a date for travel?
Yes, choose your first travel date when booking. Multi-day tickets must be used on consecutive days. If your ticket includes extras, check your confirmation email for any additional booking steps.
Is the tour accessible?

To request a refund, if booked directly with Big Bus Tours visit the Big Bus Tours App or by using the enquiry form available on the website bigbustours.com/contact/CHI. If you booked via a 3rd partner, please go back to the original booking agent for your refund request.
Day Tour Departure Times
The first bus departs at 10:00 AM from Stop 1 (Chicago Riverwalk), with departures every 30 minutes until 5:00 PM. You can start your tour at any stop, including popular ones like Navy Pier (Stop 8) and 360 Chicago (Stop 10). Check your voucher for full details.
How do I activate my ticket?
On the day of travel, use the Big Bus Tours app to activate your ticket. Once your ticket countdown has started, simply show your activated ticket to the driver to board.
Add your booking in the Big Bus app, then tap ‘Activate’ on the day of travel. Show the activated ticket to board.
