Big Bus Rome One Day Hop-on, Hop-off Tour

The Big Bus Rome sightseeing tour offers a recorded commentary in your choice of either English, Italian, Spanish, French German, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese and Mandarin. The commentary is available through complimentary earphones that you will receive when you board the bus.

On the day of travel, use the Big Bus Tours app to activate your ticket. Once your ticket countdown has started, simply show your activated ticket to the driver to board.

If for any reason, you can't activate your ticket via the app, you can still show your printed ticket or QR to a member of staff at one of our stops or aboard the bus. They'll issue you a paper ticket that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity of your ticket.

Big Bus Tours run daily, with occasional service changes due to weather or special events. Occasionally severe weather and special event days could affect service.

A child ticket is available for children between the ages of 5 - 15. Children 4 and under may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

You're all set! Simply show your voucher(s) to any member of on-street staff who will scan the QR code and hand over your yellow Big Bus Tour tickets. Don't lose them, they're like gold (cash) and cannot be replaced.

A family ticket for Big Bus tour consists of 2 Adults (Age 16 +) and 2 Children (Age 5 – 15).

First tour of the day departs at 09:00 am from Stop 1 at Termini Railway Station, and buses will come every 15 minutes until 7.00 pm depending on the of time of year. Other popular stops to start the tour include Stop 3 at the Colosseum and Stop 6 at the Vatican however you can redeem your ticket at any of the over 8 Big Bus stops.
