How do I activate my ticket?
Download the Big Bus Tours app, add your booking reference, and tap “Activate” on the day of your tour.
When can I use the Empire State Building ticket?
You can visit during operating hours. Redeem at the second-level ticket booth. Your ticket is valid within the 48-hour window.
Can I choose which cruise to take?
Yes - select either the 1-hour Liberty Midtown Cruise or the 90-minute Landmarks Cruise. Arrive 30 minutes before departure.
Does this ticket include both Red and Blue routes?
Yes! Downtown (Red Route) and Uptown (Blue Route) are both included.
What is the child ticket policy?
Children aged 3–12 need a child ticket. Children 2 and under travel free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Which days do the tours operate?
Tours run daily, except on Thanksgiving (Nov 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec 31). Service may be affected by bad weather or special events.
Do I need to choose a date of travel?
Yes. You’ll select your start date when booking. Multi-day tickets must be used on consecutive days. Some tours or extras may require a specific time — check your confirmation email for details.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes. All buses are wheelchair accessible with lifts supporting up to 650 lbs. Please contact Big Bus at least 48 hours before your tour for special arrangements. The upper deck and some attractions may not be fully accessible.
What languages is the commentary available in?
Commentary is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese on all buses.
How do I request a refund?
