How do I activate my ticket?
On the day of travel, activate your ticket in the Big Bus app. Show the activated ticket to board. If needed, staff can issue a paper ticket using your printed voucher or QR code.
What languages is commentary available in?
Commentary is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Italian.
What time do tours run?
Buses run daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, every 20 minutes. First departure is from Stop 1 (M&M’s World), but you can board at any of the 20 Big Bus stops.
What is the child ticket policy?
Children aged 3–12 need a child ticket. Children 2 and under travel free. All children under 15 must be accompanied by someone 15 or older. Strollers must be folded and stored on the lower deck.
What days do tours operate?
Daily, except Thanksgiving (Nov 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec 31). Service may be affected by severe weather or special events.
Do I need to select a travel date?
Yes, choose your first travel date at checkout. Tickets for multi-day tours must be used on consecutive days. Some extras may require time-slot bookings.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes, all buses are wheelchair accessible with a 650 lb lift capacity. Contact us 48 hours in advance for additional assistance. Upper deck access is not guaranteed for all passengers.
How do I request a refund?
For direct bookings, request a refund via the Big Bus app or at bigbustours.com/contactNYC. If booked through a partner, please contact them directly.
