How do I activate my ticket?
Download the Big Bus Tours app, add your booking reference, and tap “Activate” on the day of your tour.
Does this ticket include both Red and Blue routes?
Yes! Downtown (Red Route) and Uptown (Blue Route) are both included.
What is the child ticket policy?
Children aged 3–12 need a child ticket. Children 2 and under travel free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Which days do the tours operate?
Tours run daily, except on Thanksgiving (Nov 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec 31). Service may be affected by bad weather or special events.
Do I need to choose a date of travel?
Yes. You’ll select your start date when booking. Multi-day tickets must be used on consecutive days. Some tours or extras may require a specific time - check your confirmation email for details.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes. All buses are wheelchair accessible with lifts supporting up to 650 lbs. Please contact Big Bus at least 48 hours before your tour for special arrangements. The upper deck and some attractions may not be fully accessible.
How do I request a refund?
If booked directly, use the Big Bus App or bigbustours.com/contactNYC. If booked through a third party, contact your agent.
What languages is the commentary available in?
Commentary is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese on all buses.
When does the Brooklyn Immersive Tour run?
Daily at 2:00pm from Stop #1 (M&M's World). Arrive 30 mins early. Not available from Dec 31 to March 31.
How long is the Brooklyn Tour?
The full experience lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a walking tour of Dumbo.
Are walking tours available in other languages?
