How do I activate my ticket?
Download the Big Bus Tours app, tap ‘Add Booking’ with your reference, and press ‘Activate’ on the day of your tour.
In what languages is the commentary available?
Audio commentary is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, and Russian.
When does the tour operate?
The Big Bus Vienna tour runs daily, all year round.
What is the child policy?
Child tickets are available for children aged 5 to 15. Children aged 4 and under can travel free of charge but must be accompanied by an adult.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Most of our buses are wheelchair accessible, though we are unable to accommodate electric wheelchairs. Please contact us for further details if needed.
What are the day tour departure times?
The first tour departs at 09:30 from Stop 1 (Opera/Walfischgasse), with buses running every 30 minutes until around 17:00 (16:00 in winter). You can start or redeem your ticket at any of the 20+ Big Bus stops across Vienna.
How can I request a refund?
Refund requests can be made through the Big Bus Tours App or by using the enquiry form at bigbustours.com/contactVIE
Can I bring my dog on the bus?
Yes, dogs are permitted if they are muzzled and leashed. Only one dog per bus is allowed, and it must not exceed knee height.
How long is the shuttle to Westfield Shopping City Süd?
The shuttle takes about 30 minutes each way from Albertinaplatz 2 to the shopping center entrance. Please note the shuttle only operates on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
What is included in the Vox digital walking tours?
Your ticket includes a code for two self-guided walking tours via the Vox POPGuide app. Choose from Secrets of Vienna (departs from City Hall/Rathaus) or Vienna in the 19th Century (from Museums/Hofburg). Tours are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese.
How do I access the Vox walking tours?
Redeem your ticket with Big Bus staff to receive a printed receipt with your download code. Then download the POPGuide app, enter your code, and start your tour.
Can our group use one device for boarding?
Yes, but the whole group must travel together. For separate travel, request printed tickets or contact support to split your booking.
What is the guided walking tour?
The City Walk is led by an English-speaking guide and explores Habsburg history and famous composers. Departure times vary—check the Big Bus website or ask staff.
